When we first moved in our patio looked like this:

As the snow melted, we saw that it was a large concrete slab with wood slats running through it.  You can kind of see in the picture below.

We had them put in stone pavers, a sitting wall, retaining wall, and an amazing fireplace.  Here's a look at the process:

Florida!

Last week, my sisters, brother-in-law and I flew to Florida to spend vacation with my Dad, step-mom and two younger siblings.  We spent most of the day at the beach and were blessed with really nice weather.  Here are a few pictures of our trip:

We rented a boat one day and had a great time, except for the storm that blew in.
